Statement Of Faith

Our Statement of Faith outlines the core beliefs that guide our ministry and community at Rhythm Church.

• The Bible: We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, serving as the foundation for our faith and practice.

• God: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the creator of all things, and His nature is loving, just, and holy.

• Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, and resurrection. Jesus is the only way to salvation and eternal life.

• Salvation: We believe that salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works but received through a personal relationship with Him.

• The Church: We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, consisting of all believers. The Church is called to worship God, preach the gospel, and serve others.

• Eternity: We believe in the reality of eternal life and the existence of Heaven and Hell. Those who accept Jesus Christ will spend eternity with Him, while those who reject Him will face separation from God.

• Marriage and Sexuality: We believe that God created marriage to be exclusively the union of one man and one woman, and that intimate sexual activity is to occur exclusively within that union (Gen. 2:18-25; 1 Cor. 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb. 13:4).

• Gender: We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as either male or female, and that these two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God (Gen. 1:26-27).

• Sexual Immorality: We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, or use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God
