An Incredible Day at Bless Local 2024!
What a powerful day we had at Bless Local this year! We prayed for an impact and witnessed God move in ways that far exceeded our expectations. Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and amazement at the incredible turnout and the generous spirit of our community.
Bless Local, the largest community-focused outreach event hosted annually by Rhythm Church, was nothing short of a triumph this year. Designed to address local needs, the event provided FREE food, haircuts, clothes, gift cards, and backpacks filled with school supplies for kids gearing up for the new school year. But that's not all—we also enjoyed live music, art, dance, local vendors, and a myriad of giveaways!
Here's a snapshot of what we accomplished together in 2024:
Over 200 volunteers gave their time and energy
90 haircuts helped folks look and feel their best
Over 900 backpacks were distributed to eager students
885 articles of clothing warmed and clothed many
210 connect cards were filled out, connecting people to support
300+ pairs of shoes found new homes
4,000 lbs of groceries were given out, including 300 lbs of meat and 300 lbs of fresh produce
$2,000 in gift cards were provided for families in need
Hundreds of diapers and wipes were handed out to parents
500 dental hygiene kits ensured everyone had the basics for a bright smile
Dozens of families were prayed over, receiving not just material support but also spiritual encouragement.
